22 reasons it’s hard to be a triplet

I’ve been having so much fun making these for the New Orleans Moms Blog (moms, dads, kids, Mardi Gras), that I thought I’d do one for my own blog. The boys helped with some of them, so they’re legit. (See if you can guess which ones they came up with.)

Special thanks to my triplet mama friends who helped me with some of these too!

Edited to add this one from Linus that I forgot to put in the post. But it’s not really limited to triplets anyway.

omg, I haven’t seen your boys in a few years! I had my identical trio in ’09 and we were in a group together when I was in Houston!!! I love this blog post!! So so so true, all of them. I was laughing so hard!! Just today I was asking the boys questions about what it’s like being an identical triplet. It’s pretty funny the answers they say.

You’ve got it spot on. My Triplets are ID boys and a girl and they can sooo relate to most of these! I hope you don’t mind me sharing on “Triplets in Paradise”

    Hilarious .
Nothing else to say , except twins are a piece of cake compared to trips it seems.
My twins share undies and get “which one are you” , too.
They started yr 4 and in different classes – someone had mixed up (fraternal twins – one in glasses fulltime) their photos in the teachers folders LOL.

I have twin boys who totally agree with a lot of these. They have an older sister by 20 months and they were mistaken for triplets so often as kids…and even now. My daughter is NOT impressed as she is a Junior and the twins are Freshmen. My fav story though is my dear friend has boy/girl twins and when they were babies people used to ask if they were identical…um, no. Boy girl, not sure where the confusion is.

These are so perfect! Thanks for the laughs. I need to make a few of these myself for my ID girls. Just today I heard a little boy in their class yelling “Trip-o-let, Trip-o-let!” SMH!
