The boys were SO brave at a birthday party we went to. They were going down the "big fast slide" over and over and over again. This is the kind of thing they usually avoid like the plague. I was so proud of them.

(I went on it a few times too. Are you proud of me?)

"You want me to eat…A STRAWBERRY?!?"

I was at the boys’ school today for a field trip, and they had snack time right before we left. One of the moms made these adorable strawberry mice (they had almond slices for ears and chocolate chips for eyes and a liquorice string for a tail.) Naturally, my children ate the candy, and left the fruit. Yeesh.

The boys showing off their new bow ties. Just waiting on the shorts, and then their outfits for my friend’s wedding will be complete! Is going to be spectacularly adorable.

Just being silly after school today. Okay, I guess I have to confess. This is our bed. And it’s unmade. Sorry, Mom.

They look like a little gang of skinny-jeaned hipster hoodlums, don’t they? Too bad the tiny stuffed animals ruin the effect a bit.

Ahh, if I could tell you the heartache this tiny purple monkey has caused. McDonald’s gave us ONE of these, and two other, less desirable toys. And I can’t find any more. Yes, I went to other McD’s to find two more. Alas. So I only have one happy kid at a time. Sigh.

Oliver is good at multitasking.

(Try to ignore Miles’s bitching in the background about how he didn’t get enough cereal in his bag.)

Cut their hair again.

This time, Oliver got a closer cut, Linus had a bit less taken off, and I only trimmed around Miles’s ears. When their teacher told me how much the boys liked being called the right name {imagine!}, I knew I had to keep their hair different lengths.

George doesn’t like it, though. This summer we can always cut them all the same again. We’ll see.
