My name is Pam and I live in New Orleans. I’ve had this blog since 2001, back before blogging software was prevalent and I just manually updated an HTML page with each day’s entries. I started it because I was training for the 2002 London Marathon, and I figured it would be a way to keep track of my training. Along the way, I accumulated some readers, and after the marathon, I continued to blog.

I ran another marathon (the Marine Corps Marathon) in 2003, and used my blog to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

In the meantime, I met my future husband. After buying our house in 2004, we got engaged.

We got married in late 2005. Katrina forced us to move our wedding to Baton Rouge, and it ended up being a fantastic party.

We honeymooned in London (we met at our local British pub, introduced because we were both Anglophiles) and a couple of years later…

…we found out we were having triplets. Surprise!

Our identical boys, Linus, Oliver, and Miles, were born on December 4, 2007. Inevitably, they have become the focus of my blog.

I love photography. I stick to half-marathons now, but I’ve run ten so far as well as dozens of shorter races. I love to cook, even though the boys don’t like to eat (whose kids are these?)
I’ve taken monthly pictures of the boys since they were born, for over seven years now. I have no plans to stop anytime soon.
I work for Automattic, Inc. as a Happiness Engineer for WordPress.com users, and I also write for the New Orleans Moms Blog.
