Mean or genius?
The boys really want a Wii U, and since our Wii is on its last legs, I am thinking we’re going to need to replace it at some point in the future anyway. But at $300, I’m in no rush.
So bring on the incentive chart! A really, really, really big incentive chart. With over 1200 squares. Heh. Twelve down, a zillion more to go…
(To be fair, they get a sticker for pretty much doing anything without whining.)

Linus had his first soccer game on Saturday, and poor kid, he was the only one there without a uniform (they didn’t order enough, and he’s the only kid, apparently, who didn’t play last season) but he had a blast. The fact that his team lost 11-0 didn’t matter one bit. Well, just a tiny bit.

My friend Alicia has five girls (quads + 1) and she and her husband own a restaurant. Because I guess that doesn’t keep her busy enough, she opened another business last week. I took the boys and Millie on the first day it opened to get some healthy snacks. They didn’t even know they were eating healthy chocolate chip cookies!

So, now that everyone in the family has a new bike, we decided to go on a Family Bike Ride on the levee. This photo was taken after Miles sobbed his way through a quarter of a mile, but before Oliver tumbled off his bike, cried for a while, and then just straight up refused to move.
But hey, at least I can prove we had one happy moment in there!
Can’t wait for the next FBR. In ten years.

It’s a very Mario-themed Valentine’s Day around these parts. I can’t decide if it’s a parenting fail or win that they act out video games using their stuffed animals. I’ll go with win, since they’re at least using their imaginations…
