Who says I have a black thumb? Look at the green here!

Hopefully one day this will be full of basil, parsley, and chives. Fingers crossed!

You may not find this terribly exciting, but I do! New Orleans has curbside recycling again, for the first time since Katrina! Yes, that was nearly six years ago. We just got this fancy new can dropped off, with room for lots of junk mail!

This would be Miles, shoving corn into his mouth with his hand. Fistfuls of corn. Hey, it’s practically a vegetable! I mean, I know it’s not, but at least it’s not processed, right?

Via Flickr:
I pulled out some fairly easy jigsaw puzzles that the boys got for their birthday. I didn’t think they were old enough to "get" them, but those boys are always surprising me! Miles especially turned out to be very adept at putting his puzzle together, which doesn’t surprise me at all. He’s always seemed to be the most artistic and visually oriented of the bunch.

The way he’s dressed, I’m not sure if Miles is 3 or 83. He picked out the socks and hat, just so you know.

I had a very small, low-key Easter Egg Hunt for the boys in their playroom since they spent Easter at Granny & Grandpa’s. Oliver found an egg! I have a feeling they’ll be finding them for a while. Their interested petered out after about five eggs each. Oh well.

Mmmm, Easter brunch. Ham, eggs, biscuits, and my favorite…pineapple casserole. Don’t say "ew" until you’ve tried it with ham. It is soooo good.

The boys spent Easter with their Granny & Grandpa, but they’re coming home today, so I promise…more pictures of them are coming. I know no one really wants to see my plate of food.
