Snap!

I’m glad you can’t see my kids in this picture, because then you won’t know that I am a terrible mother and didn’t put them in rain jackets or rain boots.

I also have to tell you about a humorous exchange the kids had that day.

Linus: When we grow up, I’m going to be a race car driver, and Oliver and Miles are going to be superheroes.

Millie: That’s not how the world works.

And thus, dreams are crushed.

Those eyes, those lips, those cheeks, that messy hair…

I may be a tad biased, but I’m pretty sure that’s one of the top three cutest kids in the whole wide world.

Love this picture of my friend’s daughter. See dad’s shadow next to her? Neato. And good lord, is that not the cutest dress ever? I want one.

How can you resist those dimples? Hint: you can’t.

Took the kids to Pinkberry after school, and they have a little patio with a bucket of chalk for kids to draw with. This is very much Oliver’s style right now. Sun, sky, grass, and people. That’s Millie (with a ponytail), Linus, Miles, me (with a ponytail), Oliver, and Daddy. Love.

The boys are somewhat obsessed with bows and arrows right now (thanks again, Avengers – Hawkeye, I’m looking at you) and here Linus is demonstrating how a glowstick makes a perfectly awesome bow and arrow.

Just before going in to vote. Yeah, Iron Man came with us.

Putting together an Avengers puzzle while watching an Avengers cartoon. Can you say obsessed?

I took the boys to my cousin Clark‘s mural in Baton Rouge to do holiday photos. It was a perfect backdrop, but it was extremely difficult to get three cooperative little boys at the same time. Thank goodness I’m proficient in Photoshop….

We had to make a pit stop at a (nice, clean) gas station on the way to my mom’s house. While I was supervising one child going potty, the other two found the "fun games" on the wall. Thank god they can’t read yet!
