I Heart Faces – Sun Flare
Because of where the sun is when the boys and I get home in the afternoon, I find myself playing with sun flare a lot. Here’s an example from the other day. I think that’s Linus.
I love the halo of hair around his head. That means he needs a haircut!
I Heart Faces – Anything but a Face
Another photo contest…
I entered this photo of Miles into a contest run by Click Workshops. They run photography workshops, which may or may not be obvious by their name.

The theme for the contest was “Natural Light”, and Miles had just drank one when I took this picture. Oh ha ha, only kidding, of course. (He like Guinness.) Basically, no artificial light could be used in the photo, so I entered this one from the park.
If you want to help out and vote, you have to do a couple of easy things.
Go to Click Workshop’s Facebook page and “like” them. (There’s a button on the top right corner.)
Then, go to the picture of Miles (click here) and “like” it. That’s it! You’re done!
Thanks for voting! Everyone can only vote once, but feel free to spread the word to your other Facebook buddies (there’s a “share” link on the photo page.)
I Heart Faces – Phone Photo
This week’s challenge over at I Heart Faces is to post a picture taken with your cellphone. I took this one at the pub one afternoon when the boys were running around like maniacs. I love how this looks like one kid in three spots. Don’t need special effects when you have identical triplets!
I Heart Faces – Hearts
My little valentines, originally uploaded by pyjammy.
This week’s photo challenge is Hearts. I picked an old picture for this because a) looky how tiny the boys are! and b) it’s pretty much the only picture I have in my 20,000 photos that has a heart in it. The boys were 2 months old here, and in their brief “chubby” phase. Ack!
I know it’s not a great picture technically, but it was taken way before I got “into” photography. I mean, I was using the lens that came with the camera here! What a rookie…
I Heart Faces – Best Face in January
This weeks’ I Heart Faces contest is for the best face picture taken in January. I really like this one of Linus for a few reasons. It’s very clear and crisp (I have a hard time with that), you can see his blue eyes and his sweet red lips, but also all the dirt and bruises and scratches that go along with being a three year old boy.

I Heart Faces
At first, I was just going to skip this week’s contest over at I Heart Faces. I was a little upset that us Southerners were being left out. But then I figured, heck, we had snow this year, so I’ll post a picture.
Of course it wasn’t *real* snow, but it’s as close as my kids will come to any kind of Winter Wonderland this year.
I Heart Faces – Smile
Love this picture of Miles in the tub. Or shall I say (s)Miles?
