My birthday dinner, since our plans didn’t exactly work out as I’d hoped. But still, who can complain when there is Butternut Squash and Crab Bisque, bread, cheese, and creme brulee? And a tiny bottle of Prosecco that I forgot to take out for the picture?

We went to Millie’s third birthday party today. Or friend’s daughter Mae has an aversion to the Happy Birthday song. I love the drama that being six years old can bring.

Thanks everyone for voting on my picture of the boys in the bathtub. My picture got the second-most votes over at I Heart Faces for the People’s Choice contest. So exciting!

It’s especially exciting because so many of the other winners were pro photographers.
