The boys had their Mardi Gras parade at school and Miles was a little overwhelmed. Thank goodness for his beloved English teacher, Mr. Rob, who stayed with him the whole time. So sweet!

Someone wasn’t super thrilled to get a very short haircut.
But then, someone else wasn’t too excited to get a call from the school nurse saying her kids have lice. So there.
My fellow Happiness Engineer Wendy wrote this awesome post about the process we go through to get jobs at Automattic. It’s a fascinating yet grueling process, and reading this post makes me so glad it’s over. In a good way, of course.

During Trial, you might feel like you have developed bi-polar disorder. You’ll have moments of euphoria and a “I totally have this thing handled” feeling followed by moments of self-doubt, wondering why the hell we gave you access to millions of users’ sites since you’re clearly a hopeless ninny.

My friend Alicia has five girls (quads + 1) and she and her husband own a restaurant. Because I guess that doesn’t keep her busy enough, she opened another business last week. I took the boys and Millie on the first day it opened to get some healthy snacks. They didn’t even know they were eating healthy chocolate chip cookies!
