Can you believe Ellie is ONE? Wow. Pretty soon she’ll be in college. Yeesh.
A week from today I’ll be in Pittsburgh. Woo hoo! Polly won’t be coming with me, but Kristina’s going to drive up to hang out with me on Sunday and Monday. Yay! So exciting! And then I’ll see her, oh, five days later, when I fly to DC for her engagement party. Does it get any more exciting? I don’t think so.
Oh yes it does, because a few weeks after that is my Ellie trip!
I’m sounding like a broken record, aren’t I? I should really be talking about how George stayed up for 32.5 hours this weekend. I couldn’t even do that in high school, much less at his advanced age.
Saw two movies this weekend. One to skip (Davinci Code) and one you must see (Thank You For Smoking). My genius observation about the latter film is that no one ever smokes in it. Faaascinating.

i totally agree with your reviews:Da Vinci – soooo disappointing. Thank you for Smoking – Andhi begged me to go see it (his 2nd time) and i immediately wanted to see it again.ps. Is Ellie seriously one year old already? my God.

Right!!! I totally forgot about Matt the weird money guy. Unfortunately I didn’t forget about Morrissey. š¦ Speaking of Morrissey, recently I got a call to play with a singer/songwriter guy whose main influence is…MORRISSEY!!! Even knowing that, I took the gig.
