(For the record, Teresa did the picking while she worked the camera. She didn’t look. She has no stake in who comes with me, so I promise, there was no cheating involved. And I watch the video and worry that I look particularly excited about the RKT that was chosen. I promise, I would have reacted the same way, no matter whose name had come out of the fez.)

    YAY!! That’s awesome. I heard the answer! I am so happy for – uh – him. And it’s going to be so WEIRD for you to parent 1 – just ONE! – child for the weekend. Now, the true challenge is: will you be able to restrain yourself from telling strangers in the airport/on the plane that he is a triplet, when they start talking to you and saying the inevitable, “oh, he’s so adorable! how old is he?” kind of questions. I know that I can’t go like 30 seconds without blurting out “She’s a twin!” in the rare moments that I’m out in public with just one of my girls. Have such a fun trip with – uh – him!
