How can it be? This means that in a mere three days, my boys will be TWO! I know, like it’s snuck up on me? Not really, considering how much thought I’ve been giving their party on Saturday. But still, yeah. It’s snuck up on me. I think I’ll devote this week to posts about my boys, so I don’t forget what fun, adorable, utterly maddening little creatures they are at this very moment in their lives…
– One of their favorite activities right now is coloring. Oh, not them coloring, but bringing Mommy a piece of paper and a chunk of crayon, and insisting that Mommy draw Elmo. Over and over and over again. I suppose I have no one to blame but myself. I am no artist, but I did figure out that Elmo is pretty easy to draw, and so I was quite proud of my artistic accomplishment. I may have bragged about it to my children, thus igniting in them a passion to see Mommy draw Elmo until her hand falls off.
– But they do like to color too, actually. Their favorite thing to draw is toes. If you step on a piece of paper in the playroom, within seconds, you’ll be surrounded by little hands tracing an outline of your foot. Maybe we have a career in crime scene chalk outlines or something. Hmm.
More reminiscing later…meanwhile, I need to go count up all the comments I got in the Cans for Comments thing I did. I have a feeling I’m going to be clearing out the pantry AND the grocery store later!

I am dying laughing because all I can draw is Elmo and they ask for me to draw him constantly, glad I am not the only one! Some of the stuff you write it is crazy how similar they are to my boys. Also you other post with the playhouse, we have the same one and they play with it everyday, but same as you, the next few weeks alot of new stuff is coming and we need to make room.
