My friend Tiffany lost her sweet boy JW today. He was 20 months old and a real miracle baby. He was born at 27 weeks and seemed to defy all odds, but his latest illness was too much for his lungs to take, and he passed away.
I have known too much loss since I’ve become friends with so many other moms of multiples. JW was not a twin (but he had twin sisters) and I don’t know if that makes it worse or what. You in some way expect multiples to have health problems. But not singletons. And not beautiful, blue-eyed, mischievous little boys like JW. It’s just not fair.
Please keep his family in your thoughts.
