This is what my little boys do in their free time. Push around anything on wheels. And crash them into things. God help me when they turn 16.

I loved watching Larry and the boys feed the fish behind their house. So cute.

When I went to get the boys from school, this is what I saw. Three boys, playing in the dirt with their trucks. For some reason, this overt show of "boy-ness" always tickles me.

Just monkeyin’ around! Har har har.

I had my first PTO meeting at the boys’ school (I’m such a grown up now! Seriously, it’s like I was just playing at being 36 years old up until the moment this meeting started, and now, here I am. A grown up who goes to PTO meetings for her kids.) and we had some time to kill beforehand, so I took the boys to a park.

Due to an accident at school, Oliver was wearing regular clothes. I like how he’s the opposite of Miles here.

Can you believe this is the first time the boys have ever sat in our porch swing? They’ve only been on the porch a handful of times. We live in a raised basement house (not sure if that is a local thing or not) but technically the front door is upstairs along with our living room. Our kitchen and dining room are downstairs, as is the door we use to get into the house.

Anyway, I’m thinking I might use this as the setting for their Christmas pictures…hmm….

Before we could leave school yesterday, the boys had to show me that they ate (almost) everything in their lunchboxes! Everything except the two sweet and crunchy and delicious (but, alas, green) sugar snap peas. Only two because I knew they weren’t going to eat them. Sigh.

This is what being 3 and having two brothers looks like. Especially when they’re the same age as you and like the exact.same.toys.

Sigh.

I’m an awesome mom, because when I went to bring a load of old toys and clothes to a local consignment sale, I came back with this fun parking garage toy. (Hey, it was only $5!) I know, it defeats the purpose of getting rid of stuff a bit, but I knew they’d be so excited. And they were.

My friends’ new restaurant had their grand opening on Saturday night. I was in charge of taking pictures that night, but I still managed to have a great time. Woo!

Yay! All three together and smiling! Okay, fine, I had to merge two photos to get them all looking at the camera, but I don’t care. Gotta do what ya gotta do.

This was at the zoo. I took the boys there after school today since their school had early dismissal.

I got these metal lunchboxes for free, so I gave them to the boys to play with. They put papers in them and said they’re going to work. So here is Linus, going off to work this morning.
