I mean, honestly. It’s like you don’t believe me. Second set of identical triplets (not counting the boys) in two days. Now do you believe they’re not so rare?

(This is actually the set we met back in 2009, which was pretty cool. My mom, being my mom, knew someone who was related to the girls, and we somehow finagled an invite to a birthday party they were also attending. Random, but Baton Rouge is a small town, and my mom does know everyone, I think.)

Here we have non-scientific proof that identical triplets are definitely not rare.

We walked into this indoor playground this morning, and manning the front desk was one of a set of identical triplet girls that worked there.

And this isn’t even the first time we’ve run into a set of older identical triplet girls.

See? Dime a dozen.

My friend Steph and I rode our bikes uptown to hit Bacchus on Sunday. It was a nice, long, not as scary as I expected bike ride, but when we got there, we couldn’t find our friends, so we headed back towards downtown and watched it at The Irish House instead.

(But when we were uptown, we were right by the apartment Kristina and I lived in twelve years ago and our old – and I mean old – landlord was outside so I chatted to him for a bit. Weird.)

Anyway, the main point is, I got this doubloon thrown by the King of Bacchus, Hugh Laurie. Swoooon. (Though the likeness on the doubloon is terrible, I have to say.)

Took the boys to Endymion for the first time ever. For those not in New Orleans, it’s one of the biggest parades, and it takes a different route than all of the other parades. I haven’t been in a very long time, and I’ve never watched it in Mid-City like I did this year.

It was somewhat overwhelming, for everyone. But in the end, a good time was had by all, especially Miles.
