I really have to apologize for Monday’s picture. And the only reason I even have this one is because I had to try to get a picture of the people who looked to be rappelling down the side of that building. Freaky.

I’ll do better next time.

Oh, okay. Now I see that they’ve grown a lot in the past year. I was trying to recreate the "new school shoes" picture I took last year at this time, and this year, they barely all fit on one step. Aw!

The box of faux Legos (faux-gos?) has been sitting at the top of the boys’ closet since their third birthday when a friend gave us three sets of FOUR HUNDRED AND FIFTY TINY BLOCKS. I love my friend. (I got her back the next year, don’t you worry.)

Anyway, it was a rainy weekend, so I decided to pull the boxes out and let the boys build something. Which really means George and I built it. Which took approximately a million minutes. And they played with it for approximately 7.4 seconds before it broke back into a jillion tiny pieces.

We had a little photo session on the beach before dinner. The light was just gorgeous, too bad my focusing was off. Oh well!

At the beach! The boys were pretty crabby from the car ride (which was only about 4 hours) but spending a little time at the pool cheered them up. A bit.

Someone moved during his haircut. Actually, it’s kind of handy.
