We had a photoshoot today in the French Quarter with a photographer and I was shocked at how well the boys followed her direction. I’m actually contemplating sending in their pictures to an agent, even though the thought kind of makes me cringe.

As you can see here, they don’t follow direction for ME very well. Sigh.

Part of the usual getting to school routine. Running up the steps, then fighting over who is going to open the door, and who is going to close it. As you can see, Oliver was pleased that he got to close the door.

A video today, taken with my new camera. I have much to learn on how to focus (since it doesn’t autofocus in video mode) and lighting and such, but nevertheless, I’m impressed with the quality.

I think you can probably tell from this picture what a big fail it was to take the boys to tour one of the tall ships that was in town for Navy Week.

Someone (Linus) was having fun stomping in puddles!

Oh, and you won’t have to suffer through cell phone pics too much longer. I just ordered a new camera body that should be here soon! (My current camera is fine, I just will be excited to use the new one.)

It was raining a lot when I went to get the boys. A lot. So I waited. And took this picture.

Took the boys to the zoo and they got their first snowballs of the season. There were bees *everywhere*. Fortunately, no one got stung. Except, probably, the poor guys inside the snowball stand.

Always competing. Always going-going-going. Where do they get the energy? Also love how this picture reminds me of this video. I really need to get all three in sync!

My sister and brother-in-law picked me and Kristina up from the train station on Friday, and they brought my niece and nephew with them. We went to a park for a couple of hours to kill time before my flight home, and while there, I got this great picture of my sister with Andrew. Awww!

Needless to say, I did not stay on my diet while in New York City. But these candy-based drinks from the bar at Dylan’s Candy Bar made whatever pounds I gained totally worth it.
