Dear Santa,

Don’t we look cute in our hats? We put up our tree today, a full month before Christmas, because we’re so excited about it. We nearly forgot our birthday is next week! Mommy was excited to get a real tree this year, isn’t it pretty?

My little artists. They’re so into drawing right now, it’s fun to see what they come up with. I got some paints for them to use, but I refuse to allow them inside the house.

I took the boys to see Wreck-It Ralph (v good, by the way) on Wednesday afternoon. The light when we got out of the movie was so pretty, and the concrete was so much fun. (They call this pattern “puzzles”.)

A friend of mine found out today what the sex of her baby is, and so on Sunday we got together and I took photos of her and her husband and dog, Bud. Bud wore a pink bow in some pictures and a blue bow in others, and she will be posting the appropriate photo to share her news.

But it’s not my place to give it, so here is Bud in black and white. Ha!

(I can say the baby is a healthy one, and that’s what really matters.)

Oliver was very fond of the star he got on his face, but the next day it left him with a sickly yellowish green pallor. Ha ha! My little glam rocker….
