Category: Monthly Pics
Each month, I take a photo of the boys on the 4th of the month.
123 months
10 years, 2 months
I almost forgot today’s picture (gasp!) Between Mardi Gras and three sick children, it just slipped my mind until this evening, when Miles reminded me. So that’s partly why the picture was taken in the living room instead of outside. But I may have changed the location anyway since no one really felt like doing much today anyway.
Look at those rosy cheeks…
As of right this moment, they seem to be on the mend, but after battling vomit, asthma, ear infections, congestion, coughing, headaches, and fever for the last week, I just give up.
10 years + 1 month
As mentioned earlier, the boys are super into manga right now. They are also super into Funko Pop figures. So it follows that they are super-duper obsessed with manga-themed Funko Pops.
Please don’t ask which figures they’re holding. No idea. But they would be happy to tell you about them in great detail.
Oh, and I’ve updated the Monthly Photos page since at 120+ pics, it was getting a tad unwieldy. Hopefully it’s a bit more user-friendly now.
10 years! 120 months! 3653 days!
Ten years! A decade. Double digits. Ack!
Ten years old means I’ve taken ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY monthly pics. Where’s my medal?!?
I did think that this year deserved individual posts on each boy, which you can see here:
How in the world did I get so lucky?
One hundred nineteen
C’mon Mama, hurry up and take it so we can go inside for Diego’s party this is so embarrassing I hope no one is watching ugh HURRY UP!

aka My babies are going to be ten in a month! 😭
118 months (my heart)
Only took 118 months to get an amazing picture of my boys with real, actual smiles. ❤

Number 117
Why yes, I AM a big dork!
I just couldn’t help myself when I realized the boys were going to be 9 years and 9 months old. Yeah, 9 and three quarters.
I know, I know. But I can’t help it, I love Harry Potter, OKAY!?
9 years, 8 months
Happy 115 months!
9.5 years old
I swear I took this yesterday, just didn’t have a chance to post it. (Deborah and I were too busy watching disaster movies.)

Yeah, we’re in Austin now, housesitting with Deborah’s family for another coworker. So far we haven’t done a whole lot, just relaxing, going swimming, working, that kind of thing. Yesterday we attempted an urban adventure quest downtown, but it kind of went to pot when it started to sprinkle, then everyone was hungry, and Miles’s ear started hurting. So after lunch at a pizza place and of course a Voodoo doughnut, I took Miles to urgent care where he was diagnosed with a double ear infection. Poor bunny.

You can tell the school year is almost over. Miles is wearing two different shoes, Oliver has black pants instead of navy, and you can almost see Linus’s toes through his shoes. But by god, we are almost to the end of third grade!
