The boys stayed overnight at my boss’s house. His daughter (with the gorgeous red hair) loves the boys. They weren’t so sure about the GIANT SCARY DOG but Miles did agree to pet him when I promised him chocolate after.

Check out the new canvas I got from Canvas Lifestyle. I love this photo, so I was glad I was able to get it printed all dramatically and stuff. Best part was, it only cost me like $15 because of a deal through Eversave (one of the bajillion Groupon-like sites that have popped up). I hope more offers like that come in so I can get another one!
Only problem is…it’s too big for the bathroom, which is where I wanted to hang it. So I guess it’s going in the boys’ room (when it gets repainted and decorated.)
(This isn’t any kind of advertisement for that canvas printing company. I’m just so excited about it that I had to post a picture.)

Boys and their toys…
(oh yeah, THANKS Kiki for the three radios that they like to play AT THE SAME TIME except slightly off so it just sounds like noise. LOVE IT.)
Another jam-packed weekend….
Friday, we took the boys to George’s school’s Christmas program. I didn’t take pictures of it, sadly. The boys loved the cheerleaders. I think because they yelled and jumped around. Hee hee!
Saturday morning, we went to City Park to see the snow that was brought in. They weren’t too sure of it at first, but they got into it eventually.
After they got bored of snow, we went to the playground to climb some trees.
Then we hit up the Sculpture Garden, where they desperately wanted to climb on everything. Oh, and they told the nude statues to “PUT A SHIRT ON! IT’S COLD!”

Later that day, our triplet group had a Christmas party. So fun!
Afterwards, the boys went to Granny & Grandpa’s while I went home to relax and do a little baking. I spent most of Sunday at a friend’s house, until it was time to pick up the boys. After we got home, I dug out my tripod and took silly pictures of the tree:
Okay, it’s a little subtle, but I tried to make their initials in the exposure.
Five days til Christmas! Eeep!

Ya gotta get creative when you don’t see the kids during daylight hours and your husband gets driven crazy by the flash. So I pulled out the tripod and played with long exposures. Just for fun.
That’s Linus being calm, Miles in the middle, and Oliver being a total nutcase.

Truckfuls of snow were brought to City Park today, and we took the boys to play in it. They were wary at first, but soon got into the snowball-throwing spirit. Here’s Oliver getting pelted by one.

Happy Birthday to my mom!

Ha! Finally got them to wear the Santa hats I got for Christmas pictures. Better late than never. Maybe I can get them to wear them on Christmas Eve. We’ll see.

Three years ago today, this little guy came home from the hospital. And he took up about half of that changing table. Awww!
For just a couple of days, three years ago, we were normal. We had one baby. Just like a normal family!
Yeah, it was three years ago that Oliver was sprung from the hospital. George and I had to room in with him the night before, but thankfully only with Oliver and not with all three, like they’d warned us. Whew.
We still use this changing table, but now his legs hang off the side. Eeep!

Alllll by mysellllllf! (not for long, buddy!)

After we got home with our bundle of joy, my friend Mary Catherine came by to meet him. She was about 800 weeks pregnant with Millie, who was born a couple of weeks later. We like to think that Ollie and Millie had some special bonding time there. We’ll see in about twenty years, I guess, if our predictions come true about those two.
Here’s the first time they met when she was on the outside. Hmm, neither of them seem too jazzed about it. But I digress…

Two days after Oliver’s homecoming, our normal life began when Miles and Linus came home.

Miles and his sweet eyelashes opening a window on his Advent calendar. I like the way the tree lights look, really that’s why I picked this shot.
