My baby cousin Molly is getting married next month, so I went to a brunch in her honor on Sunday. And I got to take home one of these flower-filled teacups!

(Of course, when I say “baby”, I don’t mean that she’s a child bride. Just that I’m old.)

Bit of a cheat for this day, since I obviously didn’t take the picture. I actually let the boys use my fancy DSLR and this was one of the only photos in focus. I had my first SLR at about age 10, so I don’t think it’s too too early for them to start honing their skills.

Oh, and for the record, we were at a fundraiser for our neighborhood, and my head was in a gingerbread man photo prop thingy.

We have a tagalong this month. I mean, she’s practically one of them anyway, so it’s fine. And FWIW, her age is a few weeks less than theirs.

Had dinner with my friend Tara at Emeril’s Delmonico. Since it was her first time in New Orleans, we had to get the Bananas Foster. I mean, I had to make sure she got the full New Orleans experience. On a related note, she now understands why people gain weight when they come visit.

I was a Biggest Loser fan for a long time, but I stopped watching at some point because two hour episodes was just too much. But when I was given the chance to go see Jillian Michaels the other night, I had to go. It was a surprisingly good talk, if a bit long, and she may have finally convinced me to start buying organic dairy and meat.

Now maybe I’ll take the wrapper off the 30 Day Shred DVD I bought so many years ago.

Nah.

Took the boys to a Hornets Pelicans game. Oliver wasn’t into taking pictures, though.

I thought we were good luck charms, since they won the last game we went to, but alas…not this time.

365 in 2014: 03/28/14 Best way to start the day is with a little dose of Ann Frances (or as the boys call her, Aunt Frances.) Now that she’s two, she’s super chatty and I had a pretty extensive conversation with her the other day. Love this girl!
