Sunday’s run was great. Went to the levee for 6 a.m., met up with Emily and Peggy, my two fellow MCM TNT’ers. We went out two miles, then back in, then out and back again for a total of eight miles. I forgot to time the first four miles, but for the second four, we averaged 12:15 miles! Amazing for me, considering I was averaging 13-14 minute miles when doing my long runs for London. Woo!

Am desperately trying to find jobs to apply for. Am not having much luck. Need to call the unemployment office. Yeesh. Need to mail out my portfolio to a local advertising agency, I may be asked to do freelance assignments. Woo!

I got a new pair of running shoes yesterday. The design (outside) of the shoe is different, though, and the stitching on the swoosh is digging into my arch. Sigh. I either have to get used to it or get a seam-ripper and get rid of it. We’ll see when I go to the gym tonight. I’m supposed to meet Emily and Peggy tomorrow morning at Audubon Park. At 6 a.m. Yikes.
