Oliver’s home!

Well, Oliver’s home and well, sleeping like a baby. Heh. That is to say, sleeping well. Last night went well, rooming in at the hospital. Turns out we only had Oliver last night, not all three. Oh well. It’s okay. Soon enough we’ll have all three – like by Tuesday! Miles is coming home on Monday and Linus on Tuesday. Yay!

Getting the hospital pictures taken was an adventure. The photographer was determined to get all three in one shot. Not so easy. We have friends who want to take pictures of all three, which will be really fun – at home. Not at the hospital. And with decent cameras. So I can’t wait for that.

I must say the NICU nurses are awesome. And I love them especially for putting the boys on a schedule. It’s so easy – just change and feed every three hours! Okay, easy with one. Possibly more challenging with three. Heh. But seriously, these boys eat like champs. Earlier, I had Oliver changed and fed within seven minutes. No wonder he’s gained 10 oz since birth!

    Woohoo!!! Congrats! I am so very jealous that Oliver eats so well. Yesterday I had 4 kiddos to feed every 3 hours, and each took 20-35min to feed. 7 min sounds like a dream!!Can’t wait for more pics!

    Way to go Pam!!!! Those boys are so handsome and beautiful if that is the correct word to describe boys. Your mom sent me pics and I have to ask…is Linus the only one that cries. The other two look so calm and happy. You will be such a great MOM and the boys are just too adorable. I can’t wait to see them. Can you make exceptions for people to visit that cannot take the flu shot? I cannot take the shot for medical reasons. Keep up your positive attitude and you and George will be great parents.     Betty Claire – after RSV season is over, the flu shot isn’t so vital for visitors. So beginning in April, the babies are all yours!

    I’m so glad you’re doing so well! By the way, don’t expect that 3 hour schedule to last forever. Our babies fall in an and out of that 3 hour schedule, but the first growth spurt sort of threw it all out the window. But the good news is that they kept their 3 hour schedule until I had my system down really well, so I was much more efficient. 🙂 (Also, I found that once Ellie and Sam were exclusively breastfeeding they wanted to eat more often than when they were getting bottles of pumped milk… Abby still isn’t exclusively breastfed, though)Your boys are super-cute! I’m so glad they are doing so well!
