Random stuff

– I’m attending my first Weight Watchers meeting in three years tonight. Wish me luck. The last time I went to meetings, I think in four months I lost two pounds. Here’s hoping this time goes better. (My theory about the last failure to lose was that my body was psychic and knew I was going to be having triplets and therefore hung onto all the fat. You like that theory?)

– Did I mention this eight times already? The two year molars are a GO! They really are coming in, for real this time. I’ve blamed crankiness and sleeplessness and runny noses and slight fevers on these molars for months now. But now I’ve seen them coming in with my own two eyes. How long do these suckers take to come in? Months, huh? Ugh.

– The boys are saying the cutest things ever ever ever. Like the other day, at my moms, Linus and Oliver were sitting at the table, but Miles was loitering in the living room. They said, “come on, Milesy!” and my heart melted into a puddle of goo.

– I love breaking out the spring clothes! Little boys in plaid shorts kill me.

– We’re still working on Operation Binky Drop. After the molars are in, they’re g.o.n.e. I’m taking the boys to the beach for a week this summer with friends, and the thought of sandy binkies makes me cringe.

– Oh, school pics! The boys had them taken last week. (M-O-L)

Compare with the ones taken in December… (O-M-L)

They’re growing up!

Oh my word…adorableness!!! How the heck can a pro get our children to all look at the camera at the same time, but us moms can’t?

Good luck at Weight Watchers!!! I too am debating on making a return.

Good luck with WW! It has helped me a lot this year – I have good weeks and bad weeks but I just keep going.

The school pic is so cute…but no invisible cloaks this time?! πŸ˜‰

Pam – I think I had a post last year where I was convinced that 2 year molars were just a myth – made up by parents to explain their childrens’ fussing. They take FOREVER to come in.

Love the school pic! How do they get them to all look at the camera…professional pics have been impossible for us this year! I just started WW a couple of weeks ago and it’s going great…Good Luck!

Caden’s two year molars have pushed through fast. It’s been brutal, but to have it all over with in about two months will be nice. Delaney’s molars on the other hand are taking their sweet time.

Good luck on the binkys. We stopped our cold turkey because the pedi found some movement in the boys teeth!

I just bought my boys the those same shirts yesterday (shirts in the school pic)!! Too Funny!! But I think I have “funny” “messy” and “noisy”.

Nick was a little older but here’s how he gave up the binky. He was at the dentist for his first check-up and the dentist explained that he always asked big boys and girls to give their binkies to the tooth fairy. The tooth fairy was then able to give these binkies to new babies. There’s a hygiene issue lurking here, but it worked! Nick was very happy to tell everyone about where his binky went.
