I try to let my inner beauty shine by not covering myself with too much makeup, and also simplifying my accessories. When I look more natural, I feel more like my true self.

I have to wear at least some concealer and mascara, or my inner beauty gets mad that my outer beauty looks like such a hot mess. 😉

My very simple beauty routine means I can do some easy things that will result in me not having to worry as much about my outer appearance and I can focus on making my inner beauty shine!

My beauty routine uses minimal makeup to accentuate my good points and conceal my bad points, which helps me be the best that I can be, and expresses my inner beauty. I usually focus on my eyes because everyone says that I have really good eyes, so I try to make them stand out.

My beauty routine helps me express my inner beauty because my beauty routine is simple and that is what I am, simple. No hype, no fanciness, just me.

I use Olay Regenerist cleanser every single day and it brings out my inner and outer beauty 🙂

Well, I try to use a daily regimen to help my outside look better therefore allowing my inside to shine outward. If that makes sense.

I express my inner beauty with my hair! My hair style can usually tell you what kind of day I’m having or how I’m feeling inside. A big fun up-do is a fierce day. A low simple bun is a demure day. And my hair down and wild is a crazy-out-of-my-way day!

I’ve always used Olay moisturizer, mineral makeup, Fake Bake tan spray (instead of tanning bed), sunblock & try to eat as much fruits & veggies as I can. It helps my skin leaving a glow to it. I do get annoyed by those unwanted hairs, especially being a brunette!

At the moment I’m trying to battle some perioral dermatitis through the wacky strategy of not doing ANYTHING to my face. Washing with water only and applying absolutely nothing to the face. It sounds crazy, but I read good results for it, so I’m going for it.

Even just taking a few minutes to put on mascara and a bit of face powder makes me feel better about myself, which then makes me kinder to others! When I don’t take care of myself and am feeling slovenly, that gets reflected in how I act in the world. Not that I become an evil witch, I just don’t feel like I radiate good will or anything.

To highlight my inner beauty with a little outer beauty, I take my mom’s advice and always have my brows done and my lips moisturized…no matter what. Because according to her, “Lips and brows frame the face. People will forgive anything in between.”

If mommy looks pretty she’s happy. We all know…if momma ain’t happy ain’t no one happy (and a new one I hadn’t heard: happy wife, happy life). Mommy needs to feel pretty!!
