Milesy is soooo tired! Poor monkey almost fell asleep on the sofa after his bath. We had a v busy day, including some swimming. Well, by two out of three, which is better than last time. Linus still won’t get near the pool.

What’s that sound? Oh yes, that’s the sound of the money I spent on swimming lessons being flushed down the toilet. Whoooosh.

And to think, Linus was the strongest swimmer of the three of them. Sigh….

When I was a kid, my favorite book was Christina Katerina and the Box. Big boxes, therefore, make me want to turn them into race cars and castles and ships. The boys turned it into a train and Oliver hid inside.

I am beyond exhausted today, so I apologize for the cell-phone pic. But it was pretty cute, the boys were playing with a Dalek app George put on the iPad. They were making it say all kinds of silly things.

This is actually my favorite of all the "first day of school" pics. I had to save it for my picture of the day because it’s so funny.

That would be Oliver in the front, Miles on the left, and Linus lurking in the back.

Tomorrow is the boys’ first day of school, and it was requested that we send a family picture. Nothing like waiting til the last minute, eh?

And yes, I look a little manic here, but only because I was trying desperately to keep two little boys from running away.

(The shirts came from Momo Baby Gifts, and they just came in today, so I figured they would be cute in the picture.)

The boys drew me pictures tonight, and this one in particular just kills me. So freaking adorable!

You just can’t beat this kind of drama. I don’t even know what it was for, but it sure looks fun. I’m pretty sure there was a whine involved too.

Aunt Tee and I took the boys to the zoo. We played in the new Cool Zoo splash park, rode the carousel, and spent some time in the playground, but I think these turtles are the only actual animals we saw. Ah well.

My friends just opened an Irish restaurant/pub here in New Orleans, and I went and had lunch there on Friday. The fish and chips are to die for. Mmmm. "Like" The Irish House on Facebook if you’re in New Orleans!

George and I went to a meeting at the boys’ new school. It starts next week! I’m so excited and nervous (it’s all in French!) for them. There’s a set of twin boys in the class as well, but it seems like the teacher and her aide are up for the challenge. I hope. They actually seemed excited when we said the boys were identical. Ha ha ha!
