Okay, enough farting around. Time to set some new running goals. Let me look at the calendar…
1. By the end of the summer, I want to break 20 minutes in the 2 mile race. The New Orleans Track Club has a free 2 mile race every other Thursday or something like that, throughout the summer. I will participate in at least one per month to measure my progress.
2. Break 34 minutes in a 5K
3. Do the Baton Rouge Beach half marathon in under 2:30 (in November)
4. Join a gym, and get my body fat measured. I’ll set subsequent goal after I figure out what the percentage is. Oh right, and actually use the gym.
5. Run at least 5 times per week.
Okay! I’ll reassess this later. Seems reasonable, I think.
