Oops. I forgot to fix that link to the church picture. Have to do that at home.

So I went to Baton Rouge this weekend, saw Kettie and Mark and Teresa and Ann. It was very fun. And I tried on dresses (and found one I love that my mom wasn’t thrilled with but then saw a picture of a similar one that we both love, but it won’t be in at the bridal store until early next year for me to try on but that’s okay.)

Saturday night I drank waaaaay too much red wine and paid for it yesterday. We went to Nick and Annie’s for dinner (Annie made homemade bread and this spinach-roasted vegetable-phyllo dough layered casserole type thingy that was insanely delicious) and that’s where the wine massacre started. Then we went to the pub
and I hung out with Terry and continued killing the grapes. My teeth were an oh-so-lovely shade of gray by the end of the night. Ah well, it was fun at least.

I am trying to get an appointment to go look at a hotel this afternoon after work. It looks like a good bet for a reception site. To be honest, I’m not all that concerned about where it is or anything. I just want to have some yummy food, lots of chocolate, and my friends and family there.
