I feel like I hardly do “regular” entries anymore, so I wanted to post about other stuff going on in our lives.
The big thing is that I scheduled back surgery (a microdiscectomy, if you’re interested) for April 19. For some reason, I’ve been in worse pain than ever for the past few days, so I’m practically counting down the minutes (28,800, give or take) until they fix this thing. And I’m being optimistic that they are going to fix it. I have to be. The thought of living with this pain for much longer makes me want to get my back amputated. But I don’t think that’s a good idea.
The boys are being really funny and cute right now. I know you’ve seen the pictures, but the things they say…like they’re trying to sound like adults, but they really don’t use the words and phrases correctly. Like:
– “I have an idea! The sky is blue.”
– “Plobabry we are in the car.”
– “I think so it’s time for dinner.”
Really flippin’ cute.
Here’s a video I took at dinnertime the other day. Nothing terribly exciting, just a slice of life.
I’m excited about another (yes, another) trip I have coming up next week. I’m going to Virginia to see my sweet new nephew, Andrew! I am so, so, so excited to get some snuggle time in. I just hope my back isn’t hurting as badly then. That would suck.
Here’s a picture of Andrew on his 1 month birthday. So sophisticated, that one is!

and a picture of him with his big sister, Emily. This picture absolutely slays me. I would like to get it tattooed on my arm, that’s how much I love it.

Have you ever seen a prouder big sister? I don’t think so. I’m looking forward to having many, many tea parties with her when I’m visiting.
I wanted to post a few more pictures from bathtime the other night. You know I love the bathtime pics!

I guess that’s about all I’ve got here. If there’s anything you want me to post about (or get a picture of – ideas for my 365 project are always welcome) let me know!
