Sorry for not posting much lately. Having three babies is somewhat time consuming. Heh.

Can you believe they’re four weeks old today? My god. Sometimes it feels like it’s gone by in a flash, but then I think all that’s happened in four weeks, and it seems like much longer.

We took the boys to their second pedi appointment on Friday (in our NEW MINIVAN) and they’re growing like weeds! Remember, their birthweights were 4 lbs 10 oz, 4 lbs 10 oz, and 4 lbs 3 oz. Now, they’re:

Linus: 19.75″ long, 6’10.5
Oliver: 20″ long, 6’14.5 (almost 7 pounds! wow!)
Miles: 19.25″ long, 6’5.5

Two pounds more than when they were born! And an inch or two longer. 🙂

And yes, we got our minivan. It’s awesome. We ended up with a used 2004 Toyota Sienna, but it has low mileage and is fully loaded. Fancy! I love it, and I am determined to make minivans cool. Why the bad reputation? Sheesh. I’d rather a minivan than a huge SUV any day of the week. Yuck.

My mom’s been in town for the past few days but she’s leaving today. Boooo! But she’ll be back next week so I can go get my hair dyed for my birthday. It’s been far too long, and the gray hair is becoming far too prolific.

Speaking of prolific, the boys are quite prolific at pooping. Yep. They take after their daddy. Tee hee!

Now, pictures!

Oh my gosh! They are so huge!! At 13 weeks, Sam was 7 lb 14 oz, Abby was 7 lb 12 oz, and Ellie was 7 pounds even!!They’re 15 weeks today, and I’m pretty sure Sam is slightly over 8, Abby is probably around 8 even, and I doubt Ellie has gained much weight at all (maybe an ounce or two). Your babies will surpass mine in no time!! Sam was almost 6 weeks old before he got to 5 1/2 pounds, and he’s my biggest!!

I have a 2004 Toyota Minivan and I LOVE IT! You will not regret it. Sometimes we use my parents SUV and it is so much harder with car seats and such. GO TOYOTA! It fits the Runabout Stroller nice too!Nicole

Maybe you should get them tatoos to tell them apart…I’m glad you like the mini-van. I saw a commercial for one that has storage and a game table! Reminds me of conversion vans, minus the shag carpeting and mini blinds. I must say, it looked really cool and I secretly long for one. Ket

Wow! Your boys were such great weights! You posted on my blog about my ID boys and how we tell them apart…When we brought them home we were worried about mixing the two biggest boys up too! We used little dots on their heels to tell them apart. I just used a permanent marker – Baby A got one dot, Baby B 2, Baby C 3. They would wear off every couple of days, so I just left the marker on the changing table. About a month after they were born the oldest got a herniated belly button, so we could tell him and about 3 weeks ago I discovered a small birth mark on the youngest! Now we don’t need to dot them anymore. When they’re dressed it’s a different story though 🙂
