Did you get the idea from the message I sent you on flickr ??? This is really one of the best invention in the world. I hated theses breathing treatment so much when I was younger. Now everything is on control using Oxeze its quick and easy. Maybe he can get Ventolin with Aerochamber http://www.aerochambervhc.com/ its a lot quicker than the machine, but doesn’t work for every child.

I think when they’re older, we’ll move to that kind of delivery for the medicine. I wish they were old enough to do that now, but I think we’re getting closer…

I bought one of those and used it a lot when my daughter was two as well. I used to get kind of crazy, thinking she’d be watching that thing when she was 7, but it was really just a phase. She hardly watches it anymore. But, now my 22 month old is really into it. People still comment on it in public — how they think it’s such a great idea. A complete and total life saver. You are doing such a great job with those adorable boys!

Breathing treatments suck and can be scary for the kids. I say, whatever works! It’s like a reward for having to sit still for 10 minutes (who expects kids to do that anyhow? They need to make a portable BREATHING treatment…)
I also just read your post about the Operation: Binky Be Gone. Good luck! I always take ours away before the kid has a word for it and then you can play stupid when they try to “ask” for it. I’m always like, “What? I don’t understand.” Mean? Maybe. But it has worked with our oldest three. I’m about to undergo the same procedure for our Little One.
I’ve also heard of people leaving them for the “binky fairy” – on the windowsill and the fairy comes and takes them to give to a baby and leaves your baby a small prize. Seems to work best for girls, but hey, worth a shot if the Build-A-Bear doesn’t work out!
