New stroller

Oh well, so much for my posting streak. Sorrryyyy! The boys are sick still. Well, sick again. A different sick. They’re getting over colds, and now they have what I suspect is rotavirus. In any case, it’s something digestive related, ifyouknowwhatimean. But they’re in good spirits, no fever, nothing like that, so it’s not a huge deal, except that they can’t be at daycare. And so it begins…

Got our new stroller today, it’s awesome. Makes our sixth stroller. But once the boys outgrow their carseats, three of them will be retired. So eventually, we’ll have a more manageable number of strollers.

That’s Linus at the back, Oliver in the middle, and Miles in front. 🙂

Yes….it has a steering wheel. Ha!

Today was a big day for the boys. Oliver almost rolled over. Miles and Linus “found” each other. And Linus picked up a toy. Yay! I was starting to get worried that they hadn’t done any of these things, and bam-bam-bam, they do them. Sweet of them to stop Mama from worrying.

Mom’s coming tomorrow to spend the night, hooray! The boys miss their Grandee. And I miss sleeping alllll night long.

Regarding the cloth diapers – we haven’t been using them a whole lot since the boys have been, ahem, sick. I’m hopeful that we’ll be able to get back to using them soon.

Oh yeah, and today I cleaned up the boys room. Here is the only time you might see the nursery clean and organized…

Update

Sorry I haven’t been updating a lot, but I will try to do so more now, before the boys come home. I imagine after that, it’ll be very hard. And no, we don’t know when they’re coming home. I don’t think it’ll be too too long – I imagine they’ll be home by Christmas.

And they’re doing very well, thank you. Linus got moved to an open crib yesterday, and I hope that the other two will follow shortly. Once they’re all in the open cribs (and able to regulate their own body temps) they’ll be put in one big crib, all together. So cute!

They’re eating well, out of bottles. Not sure what proportion of their nutrition is coming from bottles vs IV fluids, but I think it’s pretty high.

Anyway, now that I’m at home, my biggest challenge will be how to get to the hospital since I can’t drive, and George is still a bit sick. And really, that’s only today. During the week, I will ride to the hospital with a friend who works there, and then George will come after work to see them and bring me home.

Sick

Ugh. Was home sick yesterday. Still not feeling 100% today, but better. And is anything worse than being home sick and having the internet down? I don’t think so. I couldn’t even play online! Sheesh. And the DVR is messing up, so it was hard to watch tv. Pout. Ah well.

The weekend was jam-packed with fun. Could barely cram more fun into weekend. Har. Friday night…um I can’t remember. Oh yeah, our halfiversary! Went to the Crescent City Brewhouse. Had yummy pasta. Went to pub. Saturday we cleaned and I baked cake and made ice cream. Went to friend Terry and Rob’s going away party that afternoon, and then ended up at (guess).

Sunday I gave George his birthday present – a grill. He was excited. I’m excited for him to start cooking me dinner on it! Hee hee. My mom came in, we had lunch. Bought Ellie a birthday present. (One of many.) Went to my house so Mom could see the new countertops (she was suitably impressed.) Wasn’t feeling well at this point. Poor George, not a very fun birthday, I’m sure. He went to (guess) while I stayed home.

Blah blah blah. I’m a big groggy because of the Tylenol PM I took last night. Zzzzzz.
