I love this picture, it captures how much fun the boys have playing together. My mom brought out her balance ball and the boys were having a grand old time rolling around on it and flopping in the grass. And if you look closely, you can see how *filthy* they are. Ahh, boys!

Some randoms
– Miles went all Mike Tyson on Linus yesterday. Bit him THREE times, including on the ear! (Yum.) Apparently they were fighting over a toy, and clearly Miles really, really wanted it. Fortunately, I don’t think Miles has rabies.

Don’t worry, he’s not foaming at the mouth. That’s just yogurt.
– Went to see my brother’s film at a screening last night. Shamefully, it was the first time I’ve watched the whole thing. It was pretty cool! There were smart people at the event. See?

– Tonight’s the first Saints game. Even though I’m back to not caring about football, it’s hard not to relive all the excitement over the Superbowl win. Not quite enough to watch the game, but possibly enough to go to the pub and eat yummy football food. Miles wore his Saints shirt today. It’s so cute how he says “Go Saints!” every time he sees a fleur-de-lis. (And you see them a lot here.)
– Oh, but perhaps I shouldn’t go eat yummy food. I hit my 5% goal at Weight Watchers today! Woo hoo! However, it took me 22 weeks to hit that 5%, which is kind of embarrassing. But whatever! My new mini-goal is 5 pounds before I go to Virginia at the end of October.
– I love my new earrings. I don’t know who gave them to me, but I wear them all the time. Thank you, whoever you are!

– Even though it’s nearly three months away, I’m having fun planning the boys’ birthday party. I know I said before it was going to be train themed, but I’ve changed it. I’ve found some really cute ideas, and I’m excited to put them all together. I think this is helping me come to terms with the fact that my babies are going to be three. Three years old. Ack!

The boys loved having Aunt Tee read them their bedtime stories tonight. In fact, I think they liked her interpretation better. Hmm. She may be one of my best friends, but I don’t think I’m going to be inviting her over at bedtime any time soon.
(Kidding!)
(Mostly!)
(Unless she wants to change some diapers!)

Get your name in lights!
Or something sorta like that.
My brother, as I’m sure I’ve mentioned before, makes short films. In fact, in a month or so, he will know if one of his films will be up for an Oscar. An Oscar! God knows my sister-in-law deserves to go to the Oscars. Yes indeed.
So right now he’s trying to raise some funds for his next film, which I will be co-starring in. As a 6 year old. He’s using old Super-8 footage from a 1981 family vacation as the basis of his next film, a satire of some sort. Something like that.
If you pledge a buck towards his goal of $1000, you get your name in the credits!
If you pledge $25, you get a DVD of his current film (ya know, the one that might win an Oscar next year?!?) and if you pledge $125, you get a trip to Disneyland. Okay, not really. But you do get named “benefactor”. Doesn’t that sound fancy?
Get more info and pledge your buck (or two or twenty-five) here:
and for more information about my big bruvver, his website is Hand Crafted Films (oh, nice site! Wonder who designed it? Gosh, someone v talented, I think!)
If you won’t do it for him, do it for my adorable niece, Ellie:
